Ensuring fresh, local food for all.
Pop-Up Farm Stand
Pop-Up Farm Stands are travelling community food markets filled with fresh, quality vegetables and fruits. These markets bring healthy produce to neighborhoods where it might not otherwise be readily available.
We create meaningful relationships with young people in order to transform the communities where they live. We teach them how to grow food in community/school gardens that is distributed through our Pop-Up Farm Stands, served in their school cafeterias, or donated to hunger-relief organizations.
Small Farmers Distribution Network
Small Farmers Distribution Network connects local small farming cooperatives with local schools, grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, institutions, and direct to shoppers in order to give farmers viable markets for their products.
FRESH COMMUNITY URBAN FARM PROJECT
The Fresh Community Urban Farm Project is a collection of community/school gardens, mini-farms, and rural farms throughout Dougherty County working together to feed our neighbors.
Grow Your Groceries Workshops
Grow Your Groceries (GYG) gardening workshop series teaches the basics of organic food gardening. We take people from grass to groceries by covering site selection, the value of good soil, plant selection, watering, and all of the basics of growing food.
SEED TO SANCTUARY
Seed to Sanctuary connects urban growers with churches to create an avenue for fresh produce to be grown and distributed in food insecure communities throughout the Albany Area.
